Bulk-saving a whole Pinterest board, the easy way

2 min read

If you've ever tried to copy a moodboard off Pinterest you know the pain: long-press, save, long-press, save, fifty more times. Pinterest's app intentionally makes bulk saving hard.

Paste the board URL

On the board downloader, drop the URL of any public board. Pindown loads every pin it can see in the page, shows you a grid, and lets you pick which ones to save. Hit Download and your browser does the rest.

A few honest caveats

  • The first scan only sees the pins Pinterest renders into the page (usually 25–50). Deeper scrolling is on the roadmap.
  • Video pins on boards aren't picked up in the bulk grid — open them individually so we can grab the MP4.
  • Some browsers throttle simultaneous downloads. If you're saving dozens, Chrome may ask "Allow this site to download multiple files?" — say yes.

What this is good for

  • Archiving a wedding inspiration board before you redesign it.
  • Pulling product references for a Figma file.
  • Backing up your own boards before you delete one.

Be a good citizen: bulk-downloading a board is for personal reference. The pins still belong to whoever pinned them — credit creators when you share.
